About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our design team. This role focuses on designing steel structures and connections, ensuring buildability and production efficiency. You’ll work closely with project managers, detailers, and clients to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design steel structures, steel-to-steel connections, and interfaces with concrete.
- Develop secondary and contractor design portion steelwork.
- Review client drawings and specifications to define design requirements.
- Provide input to preconstruction teams for tender-stage design integration.
- Produce calculations and sketches for detailers to generate approval drawings.
- Use IDEA StatiCa, Tekla Structures, and Robot Structural Analysis for design and analysis.
- Apply SCI Green Book methodology in all design work.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of junior engineers’ work.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Respond to design queries from clients and contractors.
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
- Extensive experience in steel structure design and connection detailing.
- Proficiency in IDEA StatiCa, Tekla Structures, and Robot Structural Analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SCI Green Book methodology.
- Competence in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and review their work.
