Position Title: Director of Structural Engineering

MRG Global is undertaking a confidential search for a Director of Structural Engineering for a leading multidisciplinary privately owned consultancy with a strong presence in the Middle East.
With decades of design excellence, this firm operates across the GCC and internationally, delivering large-scale developments for public and private sector clients. This position is a critical leadership role focused on structural innovation, design integrity, and project delivery excellence, being part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO and playing a key part in the business’s growth and transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the structural engineering function and team across Kuwait, Bahrain & KSA, from strategy to execution across large-scale, complex projects.

Drive innovation, BIM integration, and award-winning design excellence in collaboration with architectural and technical teams.

Manage project budgets, timelines, quality standards, and regulatory compliance across multiple markets.

Serve as technical authority, overseeing internal milestones and client submissions.

Guide the transformation of departmental culture with a “people-first” and digitally progressive approach.

Collaborate with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to deliver fully coordinated, compliant, and future-forward structural solutions.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field.

15–20 years of experience in structural design, supervision, and leadership.

Proven track record on large-scale regional and international projects.

Experience in BIM environments; ability to integrate digital workflows.

Professional structural engineering accreditation preferred.

Preferably Middle East project experience, this role would suit someone who has previously worked in the Middle East and is looking to return.

Travel to Riyadh, KSA and surrounding areas across KSA to represent the company at client meetings.
